orcad pspice 16.3 portable

orcad pspice 16.3 portable is a compact version of the popular v11 for PSpice and provides the user with a small footprint and lighter weight software package. This software supports using PSpice as an experiment control system as well as designing analog circuits for measuring and simulating such devices as voltage dividers, differential amplifiers, op-amps, operational amplifiers, transistors, FETs and others. The user can simulate these devices initially in their block diagram form before bringing it into circuit form later on without having to go through any arduous steps that might hinder your project's success. The PSPICE is a fully integrated circuit simulation system, combined with an editor for schematic capture, network synthesis, simulation and the full-wave solver-based hardware model. PSPICE can be used to simulate analog, digital and mixed-signal circuits. The PSPICE Semiconductor Device Library is included with each license. The current PSPICE software release is version 16.3 which has the most advanced semiconductor device library compared to predecessor releases of PSPICE software or any other circuit simulator on the market. This program is popular among students in electrical engineering as it can be used as part of their larger course project along with various other design tools including Analog Devices Inc. ’s ADS or Analog Devices Inc.’s Analog Discovery Spice. To run PSPICE, a Pentium processor with an operating system supporting 32-bit addressing is required. A Pentium III or compatible processor is recommended. An external hard drive of at least 1 GB capacity is strongly recommended for running PSPICE because the simulator performs very slowly on a single drive installation unless PSPICE decides to use a minimum of 2 GB of RAM to store its device database and will only use the minimum 512 MB of RAM if a single drive installation is used. If you plan on doing significant work with PSPICE, it might be necessary to purchase multiple drives for optimum performance. The library is updated each year to include all device models released during that year. This library can be used alongside all versions of PSPICE. The latest e-Library is available to PSPICE users through the OrCAD libraries. If you are not on conference or lab use, there is a way to register your pc with the service, so you have the ability to download more than one files per day.
